In Spring 2025, we met with The Hideaways team to discuss their goals for launching a new collection of cabins in Exeter. While they already operated two existing cabins, this next phase marked the beginning of a new venture — focused on promoting slow living for young professionals seeking to escape the fast-paced demands of everyday life.
The main challenges were clear: there was no existing online presence, the new cabins had no established customer base, and their previous properties relied solely on Airbnb for bookings — a platform that carries high commission fees.
We developed a targeted paid social campaign alongside a cohesive creative strategy designed to build a distinctive online brand. We leveraged UGC creators to promote booking discounts and referral codes, driving trust and encouraging customers to book directly.
As our 12-month strategy continues to deliver strong results, we are now focusing on retention — planning initiatives that encourage repeat bookings and foster long-term customer loyalty.
